Day 1-3: Kuala Lumpur to the Perhentian Islands

The Perhentian Islands are a group of coral-fringed islands off the coast of the state of Terengganu, where some of the world’s best diving spots, pristine beaches and romantic hideaways can be found. On this escape to the islands, choose a stay at the quiet beaches and incredible reef of Perhentian Besar as well as a livelier scene on Perhentian Kecil.

In the morning, take a flight from Kuala Lumpur to Kota Bahru. On arrival in Kota Bahru, you will be met for a shuttle transfer to Kuala Besut Jetty.
0930 - Scheduled shuttle transfer departs for Kuala Besut Jetty  (60 minutes)
1030 – Arrival Kuala Besut Jetty
1130 - Transfer to the fast boat for a transfer to Pulau Perhentian Kechil. (30 mins)
Stay for 3 nights at Bubu Resort.

Day 4: Perhentian Island

Take a  walk to the jetty and hire a water taxi to Pulau Perhentian Besar. Expect to pay RM25 ($6.20 USD) between islands. .Stay for 3 nights at the Perhentian Island Resort.

Day 7: Pulau Perhentian Besar to Lang Tengah Island

Take a private fast boat to Lang Tengah Island (45 mins). Stay 3 D'Coconut Lagoon.

Day 10: Lang Tengah Island to Kuala Lumpur

Take a fast boat to Merang Jetty (45 mins). 

Public Boat Schedule: 09.00 am; 12.00 noon & 4.00 pm (Subject to weather)

At Merang Jetty, transfer to Kuala Terengganu Airport for departure.
