Start with a visit to the tiny capital 'city of Victoria. Take a stroll along the narrow streets. Visit places of interest such as the Victoria Clock Tower and the colourful Sir Selwyn-Selwyn Clark Marketplace.

Travel up to the hills along the Sans Souci Road, one of the most scenic routes through tropical forest and tea plantations with awe-inspiring views of the coast. At the summit, turn right to the Mission Lodge which was built on the ruins of an old school for slave children. Take your time to savour the spectacular views across the Mahe Coast. Head down the hill, turn left at the coastal road and head towards Grand Anse. Take a stroll along the white sandy beach before continuing the coastal drive to Anse a La Mouche for lunch.

Enjoy a swim at Anse Soleil or Anse Takamaka further south before visiting the Takamaka Rum distillery to try the rum and to purchase a souvenir.
If you prefer to spend more time on the different beaches, we suggest splitting the day’s drive into two half days.
